Preview for usability enhancements to lookups in Unified Interface

We are happy to announce the preview version roll out for usability improvements for lookups in Unified Interface this week.  These improvements have largely come from direct feedback we’ve received.

UPDATE 2019-10-28: We’ve continued to listen to feedback and have kept the functionality where clicking magnifying glass shows browse mode / all records. Clicking on the search box still shows MRU / search mode.  Fixes for this bug will be rolling out to customers this week.

Most recently used record type images

The recent list now uses the record type image to help disambiguate between recent records.

When results span multiple record types, you can now see how many types of records there are and select them from a list.
