The Common Data Service an enterprise-grade data platform built into the Power Platform that includes rich business logic, security models, and developer extensibility. In addition, Power BI provides robust business analytics and data visualization.

There is growing demand at large enterprises for high-productivity and low-code platforms like PowerApps to accelerate internal app development. This demand is driven by the growing need for consumer-grade mobile and web apps, and the push for tighter collaboration between IT and business teams. The entire Power Platform sets itself apart through integration with Azure services; built-in AI features; enterprise-grade security and reporting; connections to 280+ data sources across Microsoft and third parties; and the ability to customize and extend Office 365, and Dynamics 365.

Enterprises particularly value the Power Platform due to its advanced governance and administration, which make it possible for all developers to rapidly transform business processes while still being compliant and secure.

Lastly, we are delighted to share some stories from customers that produced tangible business results:

Custom Air Products and Services is using PowerApps, Power BI and Flow for tracking sign-offs during the manufacturing process, managing sales quotes, tracking and sending notifications about root cause analyses, and more. By digitizing these processes, CAPS can now track data that they couldn’t before, and achieved significant reductions in time spent on manual data capture tasks. This data democratization has empowered their entire organization to participate in decision making and achieve more.

Lauren Taylor, an Assistant Principal at the Tacoma Public School District, is using PowerApps, Power BI, Flow and Teams to improve reading assessments and create a data culture in her school. By using the Power Platform to capture these critical performance data points, teachers and students benefit from better outcomes like well-informed reading groups. Teachers can manage the process and outcomes through robust reporting to continue to monitor and prepare students for success in the long run.

Thank you again to our customers and the rich community of PowerApps users for all the innovative contributions on the platform. We are energized by the creativity, and we cannot wait to see what comes next!
