Until now it was all too easy to create and publish a solution and overlook the backing relationships needed for the lookups that are present in the tables. A new feature will help eliminate this issue. Before October, you will need to validate your existing solutions now to make sure you have included all required relationships for your lookups.
» Read more A feature update is being released in October that will allow a publisher to modify table properties within their solutions even though Allow Customizations is set to off. You will need to validate your existing solutions to make sure you have no table property changes that you do not wish to occur.

On May 25th, we announced the public preview of the Power Platform Extension to VS Code. This helps organizations that continue to strive bridging the “collaboration” gap between with code-first developers and citizen developers. This public preview is available for developers on MacOS (Intel, and M1) and on Windows10.

The VS Code extension for portals adds the capability to configure portals using VS Code, and utilize the
built-in Liquid language IntelliSense enabling help with code completion, assistance and hinting while
customizing portals interface using VS Code
Power Apps portals allows you to add a Power Virtual Agents chatbot to answer questions posted by a visitor on your portal page. A chatbot (bot) configured with different topics, and trigger phrases, can automatically respond to questions posted by a visitor in a chat conversation.

Announcing Power Fx integration with Model-driven Power Apps commanding and Dataverse calculated columns and rollups. We have also partnered with Acumatica to evaluate how Power Fx can be leveraged with the low code/no code experience they offer to their customers. And finally we have an update on our planned open source architecture.

These apps are an addition to the series of extendable sample apps such as Employee Ideas, Inspections, Issue Reporting, Bulletins, and Milestones. These template solutions are helping organizations accelerate their journey to integrate Line of Business applications directly into the collaboration fabric of Teams and unlocking the next stage of digital transformation.
