February 17th Power Apps Community Call: Building Responsive Applications, with Adaptive Cards, Approvals and more

February brings an old guard Power Apps Community call members walking through new and easier technologies for creating responsive Power Apps. Tireless leader and host of the show, Power Platform MVP, Todd Baginski will start the call with introductions and a quick recap on what it took to build responsive applications before these recent additions. Charles Sterling will introduce Layout containers and how with no or very little code you can get dramatically change your user experience and make your Power Apps respond to layout and size changes. Trainer, MVP and Super User, Reza Dorrani, will walk through one of the highest requested topics how to integrate Adaptive Cards with Power Apps in a responsive design. Crowd favorite, Technical expert and MVP, Tomasz Poszytek will take Adaptive Cards to the next level with Power Automate Approvals. The entire cast will then cover what’s new and exciting this month and finally Todd will wrap up with exciting news for next months call.

Tomasz Poszytek

I do believe in enabling organizations to work more effectively and I’m helping them to achieve it by leveraging their effectiveness through their business processes digitalization and optimization. I do have a strong analytical background being a Business Analyst for years. I have lots of experience in Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents and Power Bi), but also in other workflow platforms. I very much enjoy to continuously learn to stay up to date and to share my knowledge not only with my customers, but with technical communities as well. I’m building business processes and applications that are easy for users’ to stick to, so they can follow and understand them. In overall I transform processes to be more reliable and effortless. I am also a co-organizer of SharePoint Saturday Warsaw and active community member, blogger and international speaker.

Charles Sterling


Charles Sterling (Chuck) came to Microsoft from being a marine biologist working for United States National Marine Fisheries doing marine mammal research on the Bering Sea. He started out at Microsoft supporting Excel and moved through a couple of support teams to being an escalation engineer for Microsoft SQL Server. Taking his love for customers (and diving), Chuck moved to Australia as a product manager and developer evangelist for the .NET Framework. In 2008 he moved back to Redmond as a Visual Studio program manager then joined the Power Platform group focusing on Power BI and now continues his community passion and looking after the PowerApps influencers and MVPs.

Todd Baginski

Hello! I’m a proud Partner and CTO at Canviz where I am currently leading several projects that include Power Apps, Azure, Office 365, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, full web stack, and numerous other technologies. In an alternate universe, I’m a guitarist in an 80s big hair band.

Teaching is a passion of mine and I really enjoy sharing things I have learned on my blog and YouTube channel. I’ve been blessed to receive the Microsoft Most Valuable Professional Award for the last 14 years that recognizes my contributions to the technical communities I am a part of and I’m also proud of the Microsoft Fast Track Solution Architect – Power Apps certification I earned that demonstrates technical excellence.

When I’m not working you will find me giving back to my local community by coaching and growing youth sports teams; emphasizing hard work, excellent sportsmanship, teamwork, leadership and how to apply these character traits to life off the field too!
