We believe that the success of PowerApps depends largely on whether you can be successful building apps. It is a wonderful thing when PowerApps works as intended, and we’re all able to make and use awesome apps quickly and easily! Although this occurs most of the time, we know how frustrating it can be when you’re bottlenecked due to lack of information, product issues, and/or unclear error messages. With that said, I’d like to outline the many options available for getting support when you need it.

We are pleased to announce the refresh of our Best Practices section in the community. This area of the community will focus on the three primary areas for successful app building: Administering PowerApps, Creating Apps, and Expressions and Formulas. We encourage everyone to jump into these forums not only to ask, but also to answer, questions in these topic areas! We are sure this will help app-makers to optimize the success of their apps as well as give all community experts an opportunity to showcase best practices and lessons learned.

Building an Internal Event Calendar App in Flight

Recently I volunteered to create a calendar app that we could use to share events across our organization, especially in the areas of Diversity and Inclusion. The target goal was to enable us to broadly share relevant events, but to allow consumers of the app to select ‘which’ events they would like added to their calendars.
