The newest update for PowerApps (version 680) can delegate the Sum, Average, Min, and Max functions to SQL Server. We provide an example of summing a million records in a few seconds and show how it can be used to provide the grouped sum of order line items in an order entry system.

As an environment admin, you can now download a list of apps being created in the environment from the PowerApps admin center. If you are an Office 365 Global admin or an Azure Active Directory tenant admin, you can download the list of apps for all the environments in your organization. The list contains the app name, the creator of the app, the connector that the app uses to connect to the data source, and other information.

Recently I volunteered to create a calendar app that we could use to share events across our organization, especially in the areas of Diversity and Inclusion. The target goal was to enable us to broadly share relevant events, but to allow consumers of the app to select ‘which’ events they would like added to their calendars.
