Following our previous announcement on the deprecation of Dynamics 365 for Outlook ( also known as Outlook COM Add-in), now is the time to make the move to Dynamics 365 App for Outlook prior to October 1, 2020. Microsoft will continue to provide support, security and other critical updates to the Outlook COM Add-in until October 1, 2020.

We are pleased to announce a new preview feature that extends multi-entity experiences and provide the capability for a maker to add a related table main form as a component directly onto another table main form.
The new search experience based on relevance search is now also available on mobile. Model driven apps now have a discoverable search, zero query results and suggested results as you start to type. Filtering capabilities on search results rounds out the new experience.

GitHub actions for Power Platform available in preview
You can now refer to the whole record in ForAll and other record scope functions with ThisRecord. You can even name that record with the As operator, allowing you to clarify formulas and work with all the records in nested ForAll and Gallery controls. And finally, we’ve added Excel’s Sequence function to generate a table containing a sequence of numbers, perfect for iterating a specific number of times with ForAll.

Dataverse Custom API has reached general availability status. Dataverse Custom API is a new code-first approach that provides developers a better way to create APIs in Dataverse to perform operations on the server.
Microsoft Power Fx is the low code language for expressing logic across the Microsoft Power Platform. It is the same language that is at the heart of Microsoft Power Apps canvas apps today and is inspired by Microsoft Excel. It enables the full spectrum of development from no code to pro code with no cliffs in between, enabling diverse teams to work together and saving everyone time and money. We are very excited to bring it to more of the Power Platform and to share it with everyone as open source. Only through a strong user community can a language grow and flourish.
On May 25th, we announced the public preview of the Power Platform Extension to VS Code. This helps organizations that continue to strive bridging the “collaboration” gap between with code-first developers and citizen developers. This public preview is available for developers on MacOS (Intel, and M1) and on Windows10.
