Apps for everyone: updates to Power Apps pricing and licensing

This week we’re wrapping up our fiscal year, a year of unprecedented growth for Power Apps. It’s a good moment to reflect on how far we’ve come together as a community and what it means to take the low code movement to the next, even larger scale. Today we announced on the official Microsoft Licensing blog that we’ll be making some changes to the price of Power Apps this Fall – reducing our prices for both the Per User and Per App plans and simplifying Per User in the process.

2021 Power Apps demo extravaganza open for submissions May 10

“Demo Extravaganza” is an incredibly fun community event where the contributors submits samples, community votes on which samples they want to see more of and have the top three authors show how their sample were built, best practices employed and challenges they overcame! If you want to participate here are the key dates! Entries start – May 10th Finalist voting starts – June 1st Finalist voting ends – June 30th Application Finals / Winner Announced – July 21st Component Finals demonstrate -August 18th

Portals support for Power Apps CLI (public preview)

Power Apps CLI tooling is the first step toward a comprehensive application life-cycle management (ALM) story where the enterprise developers and ISVs can create, build, debug, and publish their extensions and customizations quickly and efficiently. More information: What is Microsoft Power Apps CLI? With this feature, Microsoft Power Apps portals supports Power Apps CLI to enable CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) of portal configuration. You can now check-in the portal configuration to source control and move portal configuration to any environment using Power Apps CLI.
