May 19th Power Apps Community call: Multilingual Power Apps, environment variables and more environment variables

Headshot of article author Charles Sterling

The May Community call will have Business Apps MVP: Haniel Croitoru looking at a super-hot topic, building Multilingual Power Apps applications.  Followed by two other Business Apps MVPs, Luise Freese and Reza Dorrani looking at the maker experiences for Power Platform environment variables (Luise will walk use through the Canvas apps experience and Reza looking at using environment variables from Power Automate Flows. If you aren’t familiar with environment variables, they allow you to externalize input parameters from the components that use them enabling modifying behaviors in your application during deployments without changing any code. They’re now much simpler to work with and can store parameters required to connect to data. This allows you to change the data sources (as well as other types of parameters) when migrating solutions to other environments.

Agenda:

  • Building multilingual Power Apps by Haniel Croitoru
  • Using Environment Variables in Canvas Apps by Luise Freese
  • Using Environment Variables in Flows by Reza Dorrani
  • Recent Power Apps News and Community Contributions by Todd Baginski
