Power Apps portals has native support for Power BI reports and dashboard. With recent portal releases, we are adding support for more Power BI functionalities.

What’s new?

Portals with version 9.3.4.x or later support the following capabilities:

Adding following features support for “Embed for your customers” access type (i.e., authentication_type:”powerbiembedded”)

• Dashboards and report from Azure Analysis Services using live connections.
• Dashboards/Single tile with role-based security. You can use roles parameter for Dashboard/Single tile.

Portals with version 9.3.6.x or later support the following capabilities:

• Azure AD guest user support for “Embed for organization” access type (i.e., authentication_type:”AAD”)
