We are excited to announce the public preview availability of the new Power Apps mobile app (iOS and android) that runs both canvas and model-driven apps in a single mobile app. Today, using both canvas and model-driven apps together on a mobile device is a painful experience since it requires two different mobile apps to be installed on your device. With the new Power Apps mobile app, you can easily access both canvas and model-driven apps in a single list of apps. Learn more.
Model-driven apps have a brand new, responsive UX with Power Apps app, designed specifically with mobile scenarios at heart. Usability enhancements to some of the core components of unified interface brings your model apps to life on mobile with a native look and feel, gesture support, updated animations, and interaction patterns that are intrinsic to mobile. How to get started?
- Install Power Apps for iOS or Install Power Apps for android.
- If you already have the app installed, the installed app will be replaced by the beta version of the app.
- Make sure to manually update to the latest version available to benefit from all the latest improvements.
Access both canvas and model-driven apps in a single view. Easily search, filter or sort model-driven apps for quick access.
Pin model-driven apps to device’s home screen for native apps like experience.
Stay more productive with easy and intuitive experience for model-driven apps, specifically tailored for mobile.
