Building an Internal Event Calendar App in Flight

Recently I volunteered to create a calendar app that we could use to share events across our organization, especially in the areas of Diversity and Inclusion. The target goal was to enable us to broadly share relevant events, but to allow consumers of the app to select ‘which’ events they would like added to their calendars. Managing apps with Save and Publish

We are excited to introduce an explicit Publish action for app authors so they can control when apps are made available to users. This will enable authors to incrementally update the app, and test them inside Studio without publishing any intermediate versions to end users. Users will see the app updates only after app authors have saved and published their changes.

Boost Operational Responsiveness with Microsoft PowerApps and Nexmo

With Microsoft PowerApps, you can connect to services such as SharePoint, Office 365, and Salesforce to create new data, quickly build apps based on this data (without writing any code), and then publish your apps across web and mobile. PowerApps offers templates for easy adoption, but you can also create our own custom apps with a visual builder tool. With the recent release of a Nexmo connector to PowerApps, you now can also integrate SMS and text-to-speech messaging to your applications.
