Simplify formulas with the With function

Welcome the With function to Canvas apps!  You can now simplify large formulas by dividing them into named sub-formulas, eliminate redundant sub-formulas, and easily work with functions that return records.  All while staying declarative and automatically responding to dependency changes.

Enhanced functionality in Unified Interface grids

Unified Interface grids are more productive with several improvements in preview new and available with the 2019 wave 2 release.  The improvements span increased density, updated styling, remembering state, standard browser hyperlinks, loading indicator and improved filtering.

Announcing the general availability of embedded canvas apps in model-driven forms

We are excited to announce that embedding canvas apps in model-driven forms is out of preview and available for general use. Late last year, we had announced the public preview of embedded canvas apps in model-driven forms. Since then many of you have actively used embedded canvas apps to solve a variety of business problems and worked closely with us to improve and enhance it. Thank you!

JSON for canvas apps

Introducing the JSON function for generating JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) within a canvas app. Use it to share data with systems and APIs that require JSON. You can also this function to encode and export images in base64 for the first time. And we also added two small features: #rrggbbaa notation and Color.Transparent.
